Housing Crisis in vermont

Vermont has an unresolvable housing crisis. It dates back to poor decisions in the 50s. We've only allotted two thousand new construction projects per year!

One thousand people in the state of vermont are homeless (Vermont has the second highest homeless rate per capita in the nation)

IDEAS???

One hundred of those are in my neighborhood and will lose housing vouchers in about a week. Over thirty are children.

** The National Rainbow gathering is a 50 year old hippie commune thing that takes over national parks/"FIREFLY" is a regional burning man event (where white wealthy people go off into the woods)

I hope to orchestrate a spontaneous festival (maybe as soon as next weekend, Friday the 13th through Sunday ?) with experienced folks going into the woods and creating campsites, but instead of "leaving no trace"--leave the sites for other people to camp in after the weekend.
